Mt Deliverance Worship Center sermon.
Typed notes:
Acts 3 – The man healed at the Beautiful Gate was about 40 years old. This is a moment we see Peter functioning in wholeness and completeness of Christ. When Peter said, “Look on us”, it was not for the man to focus on him, but Christ through him.
Matthew 16:16 – Peter answered, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” That was revealed through the Spirit. Peter recognized and spoke through the Spirit. You must heed the Spirit. When to quiet and when to speak.
Peter is filled with the light of Christ and faces the darkness. The Spirit of God stirred Peter and spoke, “Look on us.” Peter spoke the mighty name of Jesus and the rivers of living water flowed out of his belly to another.
Enter in His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Is this how we are approaching God? Get a fresh anointing! Be refreshed! Come in praise!
When we are filled with the Spirit of God, we are like Peter. People look on us and see God within. Healing and salvation flows out and God is glorified!
The Lord is ready to pour out His Spirit in the midst of any and all troubling circumstances. Are we ready?
The Lord works through all different voices, music, and instruments. He came to save the lost, so what may annoy you in music will reach another. God will move spirits ho He chooses. We should recognize God in the music and people that are different, but they are believers.
