Mt Deliverance Worship Center sermon.

Typed notes:

Jesus already saw tomorrow and made provision for it. So we can live in today. And tomorrow is already made great.

Zechariah 4:6 – “Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit” says the Lord of hosts. You have to hear His voice and be obedient.

The church has no power without the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, He rested on people. In the New Testament, He dwells within them.

Judges 6:34 – The Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon. He didn’t know how he was going to face a numberless army until the Spirit rested on him. And he wins with 300 through the Lord.

The Lord will take the things we despise and overlook and He will do great things with them. Don’t despise the small things.

The Spirit of the Lord was with Sampson to break chains. One Spirit! Mimicked by the legion in the man in the tombs who broke every fetter and chain. Satan copies, but requires a legion to mimic one thing of God.

The effectiveness of God is measured through the Holy Spirit, not by our might or ability or power. We are vessels. Filled like the people on Pentecost.

When we aren’t hearing the Holy Spirit, are we turning Him off? We do not need to wait until church. We need to always be seeking. Always on fire.
