Mt Deliverance Worship Center sermon.
Typed notes:
Elijah thought he was the only one left, but God always preserves a remnant. God ordered him out on the mountain and He passed Elijah like he passed by Moses.
When you sow seed, you need to have patience for the harvest. Some sprout quickly and some take years, if not decades.
Lord, help us to be sowers of seed! The power of the Holy Spirit is in our lives, watering, giving the increase.
The seed is the Word of God. When there is a famine, it is a famine of the Word of God.
We need to be good hearers of the Word of God. Much emphasis is placed on preaching the word, but it is our duty, it brings our fruit, to hear the word and to believe it and to follow it.
Temptations will happen in our lives, but we can stand because greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world!
Judas sold Jesus out for the equivalent of $19.75!
Hear the word with a noble and good heart. Keep it and bear fruit. Perseverance produces the crop, 30, 60, and 100 fold.
Jesus is the answer, the way, the truth, and the life!
